Journeyman Parts Counterperson

The primary function of the Journeyman Parts Counterperson is to handle internal and external customer requests for parts purchases both in person and on the telephone.

Wait on customers or mechanics at parts counter or on phone.
.
Research customers requests and needs where necessary and determine correct parts needed.
.
If parts is in stock produce invoice from computer system.
If not in stock and customer wants to order create Purchase Order and process orders.
.
Checking in orders and receiving Purchase Orders in the business system.
.
Assisting with inventory and core returns to vendors including pulling packing and shipping.
.
Restock shelves and maintain parts bins i.
e.
rearranging parts cleaning labeling etc.
.
Delivery of parts to customers as the need arises.
.
Assist with annual parts inventory physical count to include actual physical counting of parts tallying of counts etc.
.
Assist Parts Manager with miscellaneous tasks.
.
Complete all required job related training.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
