4 x 10, M - Th Position Purpose:
Provide day to day management of Waste Management Maintenance activities.
Typical job responsibilities include management of preventative and corrective maintenance activities and personnel within a group of related facilities.
Manage mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, infrastructure, and utilities maintenance at the Waste Management Project.
Ensure compliance with DOE orders and contract requirements as related to conduct of maintenance.
Work closely with facility, project management, and work planners to prioritize activities to maximize productivity and ensure reliability of equipment, utilities, and facilities.
Maintain working knowledge of established project procedures relating to safety and work permitting, work order systems, planning and scheduling, and preventative and predictive maintenance.
Plan, schedule, and organize the work to ensure efficient utilization of employees and compliance with all contract requirements, quality standards, and budgetary guidelines.
Develop and routinely analyze metrics to support early identification of issues and potential areas for improvement.
Ensure staffing levels of supervised personnel are maintained in a manner which allows the effective execution of the assigned scope of work at all times.
Interface with groups inside and outside of the organization, senior management, other location auditors, and client representatives.
Develop or review/update various plans, policies, or procedures as needed.
Develop training programs for site personnel involved in field work and assist in establishing operation standards.
Prepare work scopes and estimates.
