This position performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled duties as needed to maintain a safe, clean, operational, and attractive environment.
This position is required to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, overnights, holidays, weekends, and overtime Essential Functions Mandatory rotating shifts including midnights and holidays are required.
Performs continuous inspection, cleaning, and sanitizing of Airport facilities to meet public health and safety requirements.
Maintains Airport facilities in accordance with ISS GBAC STAR program standards.
Performs Airport facility custodial duties which may include, but not limited to:
vacuuming; sweeping; mopping; strip, wax and buff floors; removing scuff marks, heavy dirt, scratches, etc.
, in order to maintain clean and attractive facilities; arranges furniture for special meetings and functions; secures building by inspecting doors, windows and exits.
Empties and cleans waste receptacles; cleans and sanitizes restroom sinks, bowls and floors; washes windows; replaces burned out bulbs; cleans, maintains and stores equipment.
Dusts, waxes, washes, and polishes furniture and woodwork throughout the terminal building, including items such as chairs, tables, desks, banisters, etc.
Monitors building temperature to ensure comfortable conditions and advises supervisor when HVAC adjustments may be needed.
Monitors all facility amenities for proper operations and reports any concerns to supervisor.
Responds to incidents/accidents and makes appropriate notifications and completes necessary reports and documentation.

Acting on behalf of Airport Management, provides excellent customer service to all passengers, public, tenants and coworkers.
Operates small motorized equipment as needed to maintain walks, lawns or large floors, including landside snow removal equipment as assigned.
Performs basic security duties as required under the Airport Security Program, and as directed by the Airport Security & Safety Manager.
Monitors the general public for compliance with airport regulations.
May perform security escort responsibilities.
Monitors for unattended baggage.
Responds to security alarms in Airport Facilities.
Reports concerns to Security & Safety Manager or Law Enforcement and may call for assistance as needed.
Participates in various aspects of facility emergency operations; participates in terminal emergency drills; learns established procedures for responding to emergency issues.
Under the direct supervision of the Facilities Manager or their designee, may perform general and light maintenance as assigned; may operate small, motorized equipment in performing various seasonal duties; may use a variety of different basic hand tools in performing requested duties.
This position is considered to be Essential Personnel and is subject to call back for emergencies, weather, or as deemed appropriate by Airport Management.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications 1.
Education and
Experience:
A.
High school diploma or equivalent; AND B.
One (1) year experience in a custodial related field.
Successful completion of Airport training on operation of small equipment, Airport Rules and Regulations, Federal Aviation Administration and Transportation Security Regulations; OR C.
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
2.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of Airport Rules and Regulations; practices, tools, equipment, and materials used in custodial and minor mechanical maintenance work; safety practices of custodial work and use of cleaning agents and equipment.
Ability to provide excellent customer service, operate security/operations vehicle, tools and equipment used in custodial work; follow oral and written instructions; ability to perform work independently, without direct supervision; perform heavy lifting and other duties requiring moderate physical strength; work a variety of schedules including evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications:
Must have a valid Idaho State Driver's License.
Must be able to pass TSA-required 10-year background check and criminal history records check.
Must be able to pass security history checks to obtain SIDA clearance.
Work Environment Incumbent of the position performs both indoor and outdoor physically demanding duties.
Tasks require variety of physical activities, generally involving muscular strain, such as lifting, walking, standing, stooping, reaching, hearing and seeing.
Common eye, hand, finger, leg and foot dexterity is necessary.
Mental application utilizes memory for details, verbal instructions, emotional stability and discriminating thinking, guided problem solving.
May be required to lift in excess of 75 to100 pounds in normal course of job performance.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
