Directly influences the strategic development of these functions across the Supply Chain organization.
Develops, communicates, owns, and drives long-range strategies that meet or exceed strategic growth platforms.
Negotiate and own relationships with key vendors.
Inspire and motivate the team and others by presenting a compelling vision and direction for the holistic business.
This person will be a role model and mentor within the company.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Drive collaboration across the Supply Chain organization to identify operational training needs and develop scalable solutions.
Prioritize objectives and implement operational training strategies to achieve company initiatives.
Negotiate and manage relationships with key clients/vendors.
Deploy data and research to drive cross-business corporate prioritization.
Procures, owns and leads the training improvement process from new hire onboarding, coordinating with Human Resources, first days on job, to employee continuous improvement.
Implement systems that will track current needed training and audit for learning.
Lead the Training function for the Supply Chain organization.
Provide a long-term vision of what the organization's training role is in Supply Chain.
This will include maintaining processes to track, verify and sustain our internal and external requirements.
Influence and provide guidance to facilities on all existing and planned to implement training processes.
Develop and implement a front-line leadership development training program for all front-line leaders in the Supply Chain organization.
Plan and execute the annual operating budget and effectively manage and development team within these guidelines.
Ensure the ongoing coaching, development, and training of Supply Chain staff; process performance appraisals and salary action in a timely manner; and provide for an effective productive and creative work environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in Training or Business, or equivalent certifications and experience.
Five or more years of related experience in creating training processes and materials in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum of five years' experience leading high-performing teams.
Project management experience Change management experience KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Strategic vision with the ability to execute Demonstrated leadership presence and maturity Demonstrated creation of training department, programs, and systems Demonstrated creation of safety and training department, programs, and systems Demonstrated ability in writing safety and training policies and procedures Impeccable judgement and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic setting Excellent written and verbal communication skill Executive-level presentation skills and ability to handle high-level client interactions Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiating skills High-level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Excellent knowledge of OSHA standards and federal safety legislation.
Familiarity with writing health and safety policies and procedures.
