Our organization is looking for a compassionate and skilled caregiver to provide support and assistance to our clients.
As a DSP Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients make it to their appointments safely and always on time while also pitching in to help with grocery shopping and other activities that may be required as assistance is needed.
This position, as with all our positions, is responsible for ensuring our clients receive the care they need while still maintaining their independence and dignity.
Requirements:
provide transportation to clients (and accompany them as needed) important encouraging conversations with clients while on their commutes participate in conversation, companionship and other activities assist participants to and from community activities and appointments may help teach participants money management skills may help teach participants friendship/relationship skills may help facilitate safety skills may assist participants with behavior management as needed Current CPR certification and first aid training Successful completion of paid training maintain current and accurate clinical records may be required to provide personal care Monitor and report changes in clients' physical and mental health conditions.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
