Position Description:
The primary Function of this position is to ensure the Compliance Management System of the bank:
Is developed.
Manages compliance risk.
Administers a sound compliance management system, as directed by the Board and Management.
Additionally, oversees the Bank Consumer Complaint Program to ensure complaints are handled promptly and within regulatory guidance.
Communicate and evaluate potential regulatory and compliance risk in various areas of the Bank.
Major ResponsibilitiesCompliance Officer/Manager will manage the Compliance team and report to the Chief Risk Officer.
Compliance Officer/Manager will chair the Compliance Committee.
Compliance Officer/Manager will develop, analyze, aggregate Community Reinvestment Act CRA Data for Intermediate Size Institution thresholds.
Compliance Officer/Manager will be responsible for providing the Board clear regulatory banking policies for annual reviews and updates as needed.
Compliance Officer/Manager will be responsible for monitoring and managing consumer compliant procedures and ensure expedited responses.
Identify or recommend a best practice or change in procedure if so warranted.
Compliance Officer/Manager will lead processes for collection and organization of regulatory agency directives, memoranda, interpretive rulings, laws, and regulations in regard to Deposit regulations; Consumer, Commercial and Residential Mortgage Lending, and to assist in ensuring compliance of said regulations.
Compliance Officer/Manager will have knowledge and understanding of all consumer protection laws and regulations that apply to the business operations of the financial institution.
Compliance Officer/Manager will work with the Audit Coordinator as part of the ERM Framework, to administer internal and external compliance reviews, audits, and examinations.
Compliance Officer/Manager will develop a monitoring and/or Audit bank specific program for preventative practices, for management and staff accountability.

Compliance Officer/Manager will report and responds to any findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented in a timely fashion to prevent reoccurrence.
Compliance Officer/Manager will assess Lending and Deposit Compliance Policy, Procedures, and practices within the institution.
Compliance Officer/Manager will complete regulatory Risk Assessments and report to the Risk Committee.
Compliance Officer/Manager will develop the internal Compliance Training with vendor platform, currently done by Human Resources.
Compliance Officer/Manager will Manage Regulation Z Safe Act Registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System, currently done by Human Resources.
Compliance Officer/Manager will oversee the aggregate data collection of HMDA data, for accuracy, quality, and timely reporting.
Work with software vendor to help scrub and produce quality reports.
Compliance Officer/Manager will work with business lines and participate in Product-Based Reviews encompassing a broad range of banking regulations.
Compliance Officer/Manager will develop Fair Lending Sample audits from lending platforms with reviews and recommendations.
Compliance Officer/Manager will work with Other Projects as assigned (Director driven initiatives, larger scale cross-departmental projects, new products, or services, etc.

Compliance Officer/Manager will develop reoccurring reporting and reviews for Monthly, quarterly, and annually as needed and recommended by regulatory guidance.

This individual will be expected to identify when additional guidance from Counsel is needed and escalate to the BSA/AML officer as needed.

Ability to apply technical regulatory compliance, internal control, and risk management concepts to a business setting.

RequirementsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's Degree, preferred5 years of Compliance or other related financial analysis experience preferredBanking and/or regulatory experience is preferredProven Communication and Project Management SkillsCRCM is preferredAbout the Company:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
