DescriptionPosition Summary - He/she is part of the operations center and is responsible for providing prompt, courteous, friendly service to customers, prospective customers, and bank employees seeking assistance with financial services.
The customer support specialist expands relationships through the accurate and timely processing of request by phone.
He/she actively promotes new business banking products and services.

This position will provide administrative support duties as required.
Essential Functions - or also as assigned by manager 1st level online Banking support Provide courteous, accurate, prompt information and follow through with every internal and external customer.
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of bank products/services.

Education/Experience - Highschool graduate or equivalent, college helpful but not required.
2-3 years' experience working in a financial organization.
Language Skills --Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to work independently with vendors on issues, changes, or questions.
Ability to effectively communicate and respond to questions from bank employees, customers, and potential customers.
Mathematical Skills --Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Reasoning Ability --Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Equipment Skills -- Ability to use a multi-line phone system, copy machine, fax machine, ten-key adding machine, personal computer, and printer with a general knowledge of excel spreadsheets and word processing applications, and have basic typing skills.
Physical Requirements --Use hands and/or fingers to pick up, grasp, hold, and sort.
Talk and hear.
Stand, walk, and/or sit for prolonged periods.
Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, balance, or reach with hands and arms.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, ability to focus, and vision capabilities needed to obtain valid driver's license.
Work Environment - Group environment with blended conversations and distractions.
Able to multi task and switch between projects quickly.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
