Job Description
Transition of Operations (ToO) Process Preparations and Project Management, in the Naval Reactors Facility Engineering Department, is seeking an Associate Engineer to be a Project Engineer.
The primary focus for this position is to prepare the organization to be ready to execute NRF Long-range operational transitions to start spent fuel handling in new production facilities at NRF.
This is a multi-disciplined group that works to develop project plans including scheduling, budgets, and risk management. This person will work directly with unit level managers across the NNL and engineers to develop and document Product line startup project plans. This individual will coordinate and lead teams to progress project schedules.
Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field; or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science related field.
Preferred Skills
Leading development, tracking, and reporting on project/program activities and is responsible for schedule performance.
Coordinating and facilitating work on organizational activities that relate to their assigned product line startup project.
Providing succinct summaries, both oral and written, of work and work issued to various levels of management.

Pay Range
$61,000 - $93,400 annually

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
