TITLE:
Web Designer
JOB DUTIES:
Design, create, and modify Melaleucas domestic and international web sites; Create visual design solutions that address business, brand, market, and user requirements; Create consumer and conversion solutions based on evaluation of web analytic data; Work directly with the Director of Web Marketing, Art Director, and other Designers, Project Managers, IT and QA groups; Create innovative user experiences for current and future sites grounded in an understanding of customer needs while adhering to corporate branding guidelines; Use segmentation data to create online differentiated experiences through new interfaces and concepts; Create storyboards, user interactions models, wireframes, prototypes, design briefs, specs and guidelines; Take solutions from hand sketches and storyboards to interactive prototypes; Develop and communicate UI design guidelines, templates, and standards;
Design Windows and landing pages to incorporate promotions for various wellness product categories; Deliver and execute conceptual ideas to product detail pages that accomplish the goal and make good sense to users; Support and assist in country designers to focus on international development, localization and working out the various cultural differences across the spectrum of Melaleuca sites; Work closely with international web and marketing teams and coordinate with content managers to maintain a consistent, global roadmap; Code new landing pages as needed for marketing initiatives and making changes on codes for updating the sites as required; Design UI elements, create comps and templates to support tools on the website and to optimal end-user experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants need to have a Bachelors (Or Foreign Equiv.) in Computer Science, IT, MIS, or any Engineering field or related field and 24 months experience in the job offered including the following: User Interface Design, Information Design, Graphic Design, Web Interfaces, Templates, Site Graphics, Social Media Marketing, Google Analytics, E-Commerce, PHP, Javascript/Query, Adobe Tech., HTML, CSS, SEO.
