Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Basic Requirement for Biological Scientist, GS-0401: A. Degree: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR B. Combination of Education and
Experience: Courses equivalent to a major, as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Basic Requirement for Physical Scientist, GS-1301: A. Degree: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in physical science, engineering, or mathematics that included 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics. OR B. Combination of Education and
Experience: Courses equivalent to one of the majors, as shown in A above, that included at least 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science, plus appropriate experience or additional education. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience GS-7: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in at least one of the following areas:experience in at least one of the following areas: (1) reviewing permit applications under established federal regulations such as land management regulations, the Clean Water Act, or state land use/resources programs to ensure completeness and clarity of proposed work description; (2) participating in field investigations to collect data on aquatic resources or fish/wildlife habitat; and (3) preparing reports utilizing/synthesizing data and presenting results for higher review. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). Specialized Experience GS-9: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in at least two of the following areas: (1) processing permit applications under established federal regulations such as land management regulations, the Clean Water Act, or state land use/resources programs for minor actions; (2) reviewing aquatic resource delineations, environmental assessments, or fish/wildlife habitat surveys; (3) prepare environmental assessments and biological assessments for higher level review; (4) meet and work with various federal, state, and local agencies and applicants to facilitate permit processing. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Specialized Experience GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with at least four of the following areas (1) processing minor to complex permit reviews under established federal regulations such as land management regulations, the Clean Water Act or state land use/resources programs; (2) completing aquatic resources delineations, environmental assessments, or fish/wildlife habitat surveys; (3) proficiency in applying federal laws, policies and regulations such as the National Environmental Policy Act ; (4) completing Regulatory permit enforcement, compliance actions, and investigations; (5) knowledge of state wetland and water regulations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
